The Liberty Center for Survivors of Torture is a program of Lutheran Children and Family Service (LCFS) of Eastern Pennsylvania.
The Center provides case management services to torture survivors residing in Pennsylvania and Delaware. Case management and referral services include:
- Mental health evaluations and counseling
- Case Management for other social services
The Center also promotes greater public understanding of pertinent human rights and protection issues through training to professional associations and outreach to community groups.
The Center relies on an extensive network of refugees and immigrant service-provider organizations and a cadre of legal, medical, and mental health clinicians to evaluate and treat survivors of torture.
